    Retired Space Shuttle to Space Center Houston? Space Center Houston officials are among 20 venues trying to obtain either the space shuttle Atlantis or the Endeavour shuttle once they are retired this year.The Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., is set to receive the Discovery shuttle.Space center is planning a 53,000 sq. ft. addition on the south side to house the shuttle exhibit.  That plus the cost to transport the shuttle in place will cost about $50 million. …

  • Body Found in Clear Lake

    A diver was found in the water Wed. evening near Waterford Harbor.  After an initial police investigation it appears the diver was cleaning a boat and drowned. Police Chief Mike Jez said the victim had been underwater cleaning a boat when he lost his air supply. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Bryan Campbell at 281-338-4177 or 281-338-8210. Location
